Spiritual Reality by Dr. Laurance Doyle @ Giedt Hall, UC Davis campus
Nov 14 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

The UC Davis CSO will be hosting a lecture on the UC Davis campus this Saturday, November 14th at 1:00pm. Dr. Laurance Doyle will be speaking to the UC Davis campus and surrounding community. He is a Principal Investigator at the SETI Institute, the Director of the Institute for the Metaphysics of Physics at Principia College, a previous member of the NASA Kepler Mission Science Team, and a prior Lecturer at UC Santa Cruz.

Dr. Doyle will be applying scientific principles and laws to metaphysical ideas. Starting with a scientific base in quantum physics, he will then apply a scientist’s viewpoint to discuss the spiritual nature of reality. He will use a Christian Science perspective to discuss how spiritual healing reveals a deeper reality. There will be a question and answer session after the talk. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

If you need directions, please visit the UC Davis CSO website and click on the link for “directions to Giedt Hall.” The directions will be opened in a new window.

This talk explores how we can begin to gain spiritual freedom from limitation associated with time and age.  Time is a constant in physics, but totally disappears in metaphysics.  Time measures matter, but divine Mind or spiritual consciousness is immeasurable and infinite.  This talk distinguishes between time and timelessness, age and agelessness, and encourages freedom from mortal limitations associated with time by understanding more about the spiritual nature of life. This understanding leads to more freedom, more productivity, and more harmony.
