This group shared calendar for Christian Science events has been envisioned by many as a way to coordinate events and learn about upcoming Christian Science activities in the larger community. Our goal is to get as close to 100% of Christian Science churches, societies, groups, and organizations to participate in contributing to making this a comprehensive, useful calendar.
Goals:
- Build a useful, shared community resource that will help people find Christian Science lectures in their area
- Build a network of contributors (usually the clerk of each church) that are committed to helping keep this calendar current, accurate, and useful.
- Enable lecture planning committees to pick dates that will work best for their church’s outreach efforts to not overlap with other churches in their local area.
- Establish a sustainable, long term process that will ensure the long-term availability and utility of this resource.
- Build fellowship between area churches and groups.
The initial buildout for this calendar is being supported by a grant from an anonymous donor.
